CPR, bleeding-control, and firearms-safety training offered by Active Save A Life Training

Protective Intelligence & Civilian Self-Defense

Practical training for recognizing threats, managing conflict, responding lawfully, and saving lives when emergencies become real.

Instructor-led training for responsible civilians, families, workplaces, and organizations throughout Colorado.

Training for the Full Critical-Incident Timeline

Preparedness is more than one technique or certification. ASALT connects the full civilian response continuum—recognizing a developing threat, de-escalating conflict, defending lawfully when necessary, treating life-threatening injuries, and managing what follows—within one practical training framework.

RECOGNIZE — Threat Recognition & De-Escalation

Recognize changing behavior and conditions, improve situational awareness, communicate effectively, and learn when avoidance or de-escalation may prevent violence.

DEFEND — Civilian Carry & Lawful Self-Defense

Develop responsible defensive skills through firearm safety, concealed carry, lawful use-of-force principles, judgment, avoidance, and de-escalation.

TREAT — Medical Emergencies, CPR & Stop the Bleed

Build practical lifesaving skills for medical emergencies and traumatic injury, including CPR/AED, First Aid, bleeding control, and immediate trauma response.

Recognize → De-Escalate → Defend → Treat → Recover

Your next step: ASALT Responder

All three online cohorts are coming soon. Learn at your pace through narration, follow-along text, selected story illustrations and guided activities. Online enrollment and payments are not open yet. In-person classes remain available.

TREAT · $250 one-time

Approximately 25 hours of narrated medical study, follow-along text, selected visuals and activities. Complete this cohort and its required live classes for upgraded guarantee eligibility.

Content release pending · No payment enrollment

Estimated online study: RECOGNIZE 55 hours · DEFEND 30 hours · TREAT 25 hours — 110 hours total.

Estimates include the textbook, workbook, lesson activities and assessments. Listening while following the same text is counted once. Required live classes add time and tuition. These are study estimates, not accredited contact hours; individual completion time varies.

The upgraded Instructor Guarantee is available for DEFEND and TREAT after you complete the cohort, its work and assessments, and every required in-person class for that subject. Your instructor verifies completion. Buying a cohort or completing only the online portion does not activate these benefits.

Up to 8 hours of investigative support per qualifying course, subject to applicable completion, instructor verification, acceptance, conflict review and a written scope. Each qualifying course and any aggregate limit must be confirmed in approved written participation terms before support begins. Existing contractual commitments remain in effect. The approved course allowance is shared across accepted matters and does not renew with each incident. Attorney acceptance remains required.

The 50% benefit is for repeating the same in-person class. The 10% referral benefit is for someone else’s eligible in-person class. Neither applies to online cohorts or the $250 upgrades.

The ASALT Responder designation requires all three cohorts and all required in-person instruction, practical work and assessments. Online tuition does not cover the complete program. Payment enrollment remains pending; existing full-program packages and agreements are preserved.

Ask about RECOGNIZERequest course updates through our contact form. No payment or immediate access is offered.
